Returnity and Cosmoprof North America Partner to Address Reusable Bag Waste with In Rotation Program

New York, NY – [July 23, 2025] – Returnity, a leader in reusable shipping solutions, is excited to announce its partnership with Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) to launch the In Rotation program at the beauty industry’s premier trade event, which took place from July 15–17 in Las Vegas. This initiative featured designated collection bins throughout the show floor, allowing attendees and exhibitors to conveniently drop off unused or unwanted reusable bags. The goal is to reduce post-event waste and extend the life cycle of materials already in circulation.

As sustainability efforts continue to grow, reusable bags have become increasingly essential at trade shows. However, with over 10 billion bags produced annually, many end up forgotten in closets or discarded. This partnership aims to change that by promoting the continued use of these bags and keeping them out of the waste stream.

“Reusable bags were created to address the single-use plastic problem, but overproduction and underuse have led to a new challenge,” said Mike Newman, CEO of Returnity. “By collaborating with CPNA to bring In Rotation to the show floor, we are making it easy for attendees and exhibitors to be part of the solution.”

The collected bags will be cleaned, redistributed by Returnity, and donated to charitable partners.

This initiative complements Returnity’s broader efforts in sustainable packaging, including The Last Box, a reusable shipping system designed to replace cardboard in retail and e-commerce supply chains. Together, these solutions reflect Returnity’s mission to help brands and industries transition from disposable to durable options.

“Sustainability is a key focus for CPNA, and our partnership with Returnity aligns perfectly with our values,” said Liza Rapay, Cosmoprof North America’s Vice President. “We’re proud to provide a simple, meaningful way for our community to reduce waste and participate in a circular solution.”
